DescriptionDit werk maakt deel uit van een aanzienlijke collectie graffiti-tekeningen, die de New Yorkse kunstverzamelaar Norman Dubrow in 1989 aan het Groninger Museum schonk. Hoewel de voorstelling niet op een muur of treinstel is aangebracht, bevat hij wel de beeldtaal van de graffiti-kunst: de schuilnaam van de kunstenaar wordt op monumentale wijze in het beeldvlak geplaatst, meestal omgeven door fantasiefiguren uit de wereld van comics en tekenfilms.
This work is part of a considerable collection of graffiti drawings, which the New York art collector Norman Dubrow donated to the Groninger Mnseum in 1989. Although the picture has not been made on a wall or train, it does contain the visual idiom of graffiti art: the pseudouym of the artist placed in a monumental manner in the picture, generally surrounded by fantasy figures from the world of comics and cartoons.
