Deze ketel maakt deel uit van een complete serie producten en is uitstekend te combineren met andere producten uit de 'Graves Familie' van Alessi. Alle andere voorwerpen zijn gebaseerd op deze fluitketel. De ketel heeft veel traditionele stijlkenmerken van o.a. Art-Deco en pop art in zich. Graves was als geen ander in staat om de functionaliteit van een ontwerp te benadrukken door daar een opvallend of gekleurd element aan toe te voegen. Bij deze ketel is dat het handvat en het vogeltje, dat zingt als het water kookt.
