BeschrijvingGrote groefrandschotel van Chinees porselein op een dubbele voetring, in Famille Verte stijl. De voorzijde versierd met een paviljoen en figuren. Op het terras komen een man en vrouw, net over de brug, aangewandeld. In het paviljoen, staan twee vrouwen naast twee lage stafels met een bloempot. Achter de vrouwen twee grote tafels met bloemvazen. Boven het paviljoen wolkenslierten en een maantje. Op de achterzijde vier gelukssymbolen.
Deze schotel is interessant omdat naast famille verte emails, bovenglazuur-blauw is gebruikt. Deze techniek werd rond 1685-90 door de Chinese porselein industrie ontwikkeld. De traditionele groefrand bewijst dat deze niet verdween nadat de ovens in Jingdezhen waren vernietigd in 1675. Gezien de decoratie is de schotel voor de interne Chinese markt geproduceerd. Dit betekent dat de groefrand niet enkel is gebruikt voor export goed, maar ook voor bij Chinezen in de smaak viel na 1685. De oorsprong van decoratie is nog niet achterhaald.

On the terrace stand a man and a woman, inside are two ladies standing near two low tables with a flowerpot, behind them two taller tables with flower vases. The reverse with four large auspicious symbols.
This dish is interesting in that its decoration includes overglaze blue, which was supposedly developed by the Chinese porcelain industry around 1685–90. It also has a traditional channel footring, proving that the channel footring did not disappear after the kilns in Jingdezhen were destroyed in 1675, but was used afterwards as well. Furthermore, this is not a dish for the inter-Asian market; its decoration most likely had a literary source and was made for domestic Chinese clients. This implies that the channel footring was not only used for export wares, but also for Chinese-taste Kangxi wares after c. 1685. The source of the decoration has not been traced yet.
