BeschrijvingSchotel van Chinees porselein op voetring, brede, iets opstaande platte rand. Famille Verte, versierd in de kleuren geel, blauw, aubergine, zwart, groen, ijzerrood, zeegroen en lichtgroen, met een oeverlandschap met twee badderende vogels, op de oever links grote bloeiende planten, een vlinder en insecten. Op de achterzijde van de wand tweemaal een bergachtige oever met een paviljoen en tweemaal twee bootjes.
De vrije en elegante decoratie is in artistiek opzicht verwant aan een bord uit de collectie van het Groninger Museum # 1953.0023. De voor deze periode ongebruikelijke blauwe kleur is wellicht verkregen door het met wit email te mengen.
Dish on a footring, with shallow sides, and a wide flat rim. Decorated in famille verte enamels, including a dull, very opaque blue, with a riverscape filling the entire surface. On the left a sloping shore with large flowering plants, a butterfly and insects above and two birds by the waterfront, one bathing. On the reverse two identical riverscapes with two boats and a pavilion on the shore. Marked on the base with a lotus flower in a double circle in underglaze blue.
In an artistic sense the free and elegant, painterly decoration is related to the dish no 1953.0023. The opaque blue enamel is unusual for this period and may have been achieved by mixing it with white. A similar dish is in the Musée Guimet, Paris
