DescriptionHartvormige geschulpte pattipan op hartvormige voetring, van Japans porselein. Het is in onderglazuur blauw versierd met een Nederlands riviergezicht met een zeilboot, een kade met twee mensen en aangemeerde schepen, een man in een roeiboot, en in de achtergrond een kerktoren. Rond de rand is een donkerblauwe border. De achterkant is onversierd, met op de bodem een zes karakter Chenghua merk.
Deze pattipan is een imitatie van een stuk uit Delft, dat deel uitmaakt van een vijftal van het Prinsenhof Museum, Delft. Er zijn hier veel voorbeelden van, waaronder in Chinees porselein (in navolging van de Japanse stukken), zie 2021.0251 en in Engels ‘Bow’ porselein. Dezelfde versiering is er ook op kopjes (1899.0002). Sommigen veronderstellen dat dit een schoteltje bij een kopje was, aangezien er geen 'normale' schoteltjes met deze versiering bekend zijn. Andere kopjes van deze groep hebben echter wel een bijbehorend rond schoteltje.
